Has been a guest on my podcast "What You Need When You Need It" and is overrall just a bad A**. I'm talking spending a week backpacking through the Mojave desert kind of bada**. She is also the FOUNDER of the independent publishing platform Kingdoms In The Wild. Which is currently accepting Short Fiction & Poetry submissions.
N.L. Shompole was born in Kenya. She is a multi-platform artist whose written and photographic works have been featured in various print and online publications including Rust + Moth, Words Dance Publication, The Rising Phoenix Review, Maps for Teeth, Invitation Annual and Kinfolks Quarterly. In 2014 she was the recipient of a creative grant from Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and the resulting works were shown in various galleries and festivals across the San Francisco Bay Area including the Home Away from Home Festival and the Joyce Gordon Gallery. She is also the author of a several poetry collections including the bestselling collection Lace Bone Beast: Poems & Other Fairytales for Wicked Girls.
